ABOUT CTET

CTET full form: The full name of CTET is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is an exam that is provided on a national level by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to ensure that the candidates desiring to become a teacher in Classes 1-8 are eligible.

This examination is needed in the teaching field in most Central Government schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).

CTET has two papers:

Paper 1: To those candidates who desire to educate in Classes 1 to 5 (Primary level).

Paper 2: To those who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8 (Elementary level).

In case one wants to teach Classes 1-8, he/she has to take both papers. The test is normally administered once in a year in offline (pen and paper) format.

Date To Apply For The CTET

The Central Board Of Secondary Education would announce the date. One has to register and submit the CTET Online form to appear for the exams. You need to upload a scanned copy of your photo identity card, the photo must be recent and attested.
